Customer Service and Administrative Coordinator

The Customer Service and Administrative Coordinator will interact with viewers and customers via many different technologies to provide helpful solutions to questions and problems with our television streaming channel, MHz Choice, and various other products and services. Also responsible for designated accounting and general administrative duties.


Customer Service Duties

  • Answer customer/company phone calls and emails
  • Respond to customer questions through the customer service portal and manage multiple cases of customer threads simultaneously

  • Help customers troubleshoot technical issues and provide basic customer support from login/ password issues to more involved technical problems
  • Develop resources, best practices, instructional images, etc. to draw upon when answering questions and addressing problems for customers and make recommendations to improve customer interactions.
  • Liaison between customers and tech development teams to help troubleshoot customer issues.

Administrative Duties:

  • Facilitate the receipt, input and distribution of invoices; the processing of checks; and the receipt and input of received checks
  • Open and distribute mail
  • Facilitate the credit card expense and expense report
  • Assist with annual audit
  • File and scan documents as needed
  • Other clerical duties as needed


Required: 1-2 years of experience using CRM tool; general office experience; Bachelor’s Degree; familiarity with basic business; email and virtual meeting etiquette; strong computer skills specifically with email, word processing, spreadsheet and database software; novice level Photoshop skills; good attention to detail and proofreading skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; calm, professional, unflappable demeanor; good organizational skills, resourcefulness and problem-solving abilities; demonstrated initiative and follow-through on multiple projects with shifting priorities; ability to work independently on multiple tasks.

Preferred: Understanding of basic accounting; familiarity with providing customer support through social media; basic digital video editing experience (Avid, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve or something similar); basic motion graphics skills in Adobe After Effects or willingness to learn; some experience writing customer support help articles; some experience with web publishing (Wordpress, Squarespace, Wix, Weebly or something similar); interest in European TV and films; familiarity with standalone streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, HBO NOW; experience in creating customer surveys.
