MHz Networks is proud to announce that MHz Worldview, our international news and entertainment broadcast channel, will return to the Chicago metro area on April 23, 2018. MHz Worldview’s return to Chicago is the direct result of a recent channel sharing arrangement between public television stations WYCC and WTTW.

“We’re very happy to be back in Chicago”, said Frederick Thomas, President of MHz Networks. “Thanks to all our loyal Chicago area viewers who really helped make this happen,” Thomas added.

From the WTTW website:

“As a result of WYCC’s participation in the Federal Communications Commission incentive auction for broadcast spectrum sale, WYCC temporarily ceased broadcast operations on channel 20 on November 27, 2017. In March 2018, with FCC approval, the WYCC license was transferred by the Board of Trustees for City Colleges of Chicago to WTTW.

Over‐the‐air viewers can find Worldview on channel 20.1 by rescanning available channels on their televisions. Viewers will also be able to watch WYCC MHz Worldview on Comcast channel 372.”

On April 23, Chicago area viewers can find MHz Worldview here:
Broadcast digital channel 20.1 (over-the-air viewers should rescan their local channels)
Comcast channel 372
RCN channel 57
