WGVU Launches MHz Worldview August 4

GRAND RAPIDS, MI & FALLS CHURCH, VA- WGVU launches on August 4 as the 23rd nationwide MHz Worldview affiliate.

MHz Worldview will be available to area viewers on digital channels 35/DT 11 (WGVU) and 52/DT 5 (WGVK) to the over 700,000 viewers of the Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo and Battle Creek market area.

The channel will also be available via several local cable and satellite services. Viewers are encouraged to check their local listings. 

WGVU's continued mission is to provide educational, informative, and entertaining programs and events to the West Michigan community as a service of Grand Valley State University.

Programming manager, Carrie Corbin says, “MHz Worldview programming fits our mission of learning. The newscasts and cultural programming provide an equal balance of education and entertainment.”
