FALLS CHURCH, VA - Nashville Public Television (NPT) launches MHz Worldview on February 1, and becomes the 27th national MHz Worldview affiliate.
MHz Worldview will be broadcast to Middle Tennessee viewers on NPT’s digital channel, NPT2, available over-the-air on channel 8.2, on Comcast digital cable channel 241 and on Charter digital cable channel 176.
NASHVILLE PUBLIC TELEVISION is Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky's public television station, reaching 2.2 million viewers over-the-air and via digital broadcast, cable and satellite providers. It is watched by more than 600,000 households every week.
Through the power of traditional television and interactive telecommunications, via a combination of original programming and broadcast content from a variety of providers including PBS, APT, and now MHz Worldview, NPT presents high quality educational, cultural and civic experiences that address issues and concerns of the people of the Nashville region.
