MHz Worldview Moves to New Satellite Transponder

FALLS CHURCH, VA- National channel MHz Worldview has moved from the WorldTV service on Galaxy 19 satellite to a new transponder on the same satellite. MHz Worldview is now on transponder 27 of Galaxy 19 satellite.

 

Existing WorldTV and free to air satellite viewers on G19 satellite are able to watch MHz Worldview on channel 949 by manually adjusting their set top box to the following configuration:

 

Satellite: Galaxy 19 at 97.0 degrees west
Frequency: Ku 12177 MHz or L Band 1427 MHz
Polarization: Vertical
SR: 23.000
FEC: 3/4
SID: 19
VPID: 4085
APID: 261

 

This update only affects viewers who previously watched MHz Worldview on WorldTV, powered by GlobeCast, not viewers receiving the channel via broadcast, cable or telco or other satellite systems.
