MHz Networks Brings Wide Variety of Asian Content to U.S. Audiences

FALLS CHURCH, VA – Already the destination for premier international content, MHz Networks recently signed a distribution deal with Arirang TV from South Korea. The addition of Arirang TV to the MHz line-up strengthens an already robust line-up of Asian content available from the national network.


Arirang joins the full time ten channel line-up in the Washington, DC metro area on May 1.


MHz Networks offers several other broadcasters from the Asian region.


NHK World TV from Japan has been part of the full-time channel line-up in the Washington, DC metro area since 2007. Several of the channels programs are also featured on MHz Worldview, the national channel of MHz Networks, reaching over 42 million households throughout the U.S.


Macroview TV from Taiwan features two of its news and contemporary magazine programs nationally on MHz Worldview.


Metro Chinese Network signed on to MHz Networks distribution as a local in-language channel broadcasting 24/7 in the DC area on MHz Networks 3 in 2008. 


VTV 4 from Vietnam has been available on digital broadcast MHz Networks in the DC area as a full time channel since 2009. VTV now emerges forward as the first Asian broadcast partner of MHz to move its content through digital over the top TV distribution options available from MHz.


MHz Networks also features news from South Asia with Asian News International from India, and numerous programs bringing Bollywood, Indian music, culture, entertainment series and news magazines to a globally-minded U.S. audience on MHz Worldview.
